Rumpus - Inspire, Connect, Deliver

Four days, seven wineries, 12 journalists, 134 wines and 945 kilometres…
 
Rumpus was tasked with raising awareness of Romanian wine in the UK and invited the Circle of Wine Writers (CWW) to rediscover one of Europe’s oldest wine producing regions.
With seven wineries to visit in four days, which would involve over 1,000km of travel (mainly by mini bus!), it was certainly a challenging task for Rumpus to organise and coordinate.
The trip involved significant advance preparation, with detailed itineraries and winery information being circulated to CWW members in advance. Rumpus also worked alongside the wineries to ensure each visit offered the right level of detail.
Two of the Rumpus team accompanied the CWW on the trip to ensure everything ran smoothly, and the four-day tour of Romania was regarded as a great success.The press trip led to the publication of six trade and three consumer articles, as well as a number of Romanian wine tastings, organised by members keen to spread the word about Romanian wine.
